Selmi has two modern production facilities: The biggest one is located in Sumaré and the other one is located in Londrina, PR. Both facilities have the latest machines planned and industrial plants to expand at any time, without interfering with their productivity. It is important to mention that all the production lines are fully automated without any manual contact with the products, which are made only with selected and rigorously analyzed ingredients.

Sumaré Unit

Inaugurated in 2000, the Sumaré unit is considered the most modern plant of South America, and one of the most modern in the world in its segment. With over 38 thousand square meters of total constructed area, it produces 11,000 tons / month of pasta, 400 ton / month of cakes, 3,000 ton / month of flour and mix and 1,000 ton / month of cookies.

Currently this unit has six main machines in full operation in the production of pasta. Two to produce spaghetti with the capacity to produce 2,200 kg / h and 4,000 kg. / H, two for the cut pasta (capacity of 4,000 kg / h and 6,000 kg. / H each) for the nest type pasta and noodles ( capacity of 1200 kg. / h) and a machine for the production of instant noodles for up to 350 packs / minute and a packaging system of the most modern and automated ones.

In addition to the pasta factory, the Sumaré unit also has a plant for the production of cakes and biscuits, with 9,943 square meters of constructed area.


The Renata Special Wheat Flour and the Renata Durum Wheat Semolina are also produced at the Sumaré unit.

Londrina Unit

Inaugurated in the 60s, the Londrina unit is one of the most; traditional plants in the country. Directed exclusively to the production of pasta, this unit has a machine for long pasta like spaghetti (capacity 2500 kg. / H), a machine to cut pasta(capacity of 2,000 kg / h) two for the nest type pasta (with a capacity of 350 kg / h each), and one for instant noodles (capacity of 1,200 kg / h). With 13 thousand square meters of constructed area, the Londrina factory produces about 110 of its 150 tons daily capacity.
